Healthcare
Craig Hospital Retrofit | Englewood, CO
Craig Hospital located in Englewood, CO specializes in spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. The facility consists of 3 buildings: East, Family Housing and the Main Hospital. ATS Rocky Mountain was selected to perform a phased replacement of the legacy Siemens control system at the Hospital’s three buildings. The hospital remained in operation throughout the project, with patients on the premises 24 hours a day.
The controls retrofit began in 2013 and was completed in 2016. For the Main Hospital building ATS replaced all the existing legacy controls utilizing Alerton hardware and Compass Operator Workstation software. For the East and Family Housing buildings ATS utilized Alerton’s BCM-FPCS to replace controls for the RTUs, chillers and boilers while integrating to the existing Siemens zone control. By utilizing the existing zone controls, ATS lowered the installation cost while updating the hospital’s critical controls infrastructure.
Porter Adventist Hospital – Centura Health
The Porter Adventist Hospital located in Denver, CO has been providing healthcare services to the local community since 1930. The hospital’s commitment to providing best-in-class healthcare includes ensuring their facilities are up-to-date and operating as efficiently as possible so providers can focus on patient care. When it was time to modernize the hospital’s mechanical equipment, ATS Rocky Mountain was chosen to provide an updated building management and control system.
ATS provided a Tridium front-end coupled with Alerton I/O control for all the renovated spaces. This involved decoupling legacy JCI control and establishing a new Tridium based operator interface that the hospital will continue to build upon with future renovations. This renovation project includes integration to AHUs, RTUs, medical air compressors, evaporative coolers and more.
