Lucent is a three-building campus consisting of 622,100 sqft. of class A office space. Originally built in 2000, ATS replaced a failing and proprietary control system with a modern native BACnet building automation system, enabling proper control and efficiencies of the central rooftop units, condenser water system, and zone terminal units.
The Fitzsimmons Innovation Center is a sprawling campus with 427,000 sqft. of custom laboratory, office, and meeting space used for academic and private research interests. The center offers flexible design for future infrastructure while meeting LEED Gold standards. ATS provided controls for such systems as a central heating plant, RTU integrations, VAV box with HW reheats, supply and return venturi air valves, lab fume hoods, fan filter units, lab exhaust systems, and space pressure monitoring.
Completed in 2018, this 12-story class A office tower provides 192,351 sqft. of flexible office space, and 8-stories of fully enclosed parking. The ATS-provided building automation system helped 50 Fifty achieve LEED Gold certification and a 26% energy cost savings over the baseline design. Equipment controlled includes a 600-ton cooling plant, high-efficiency water source heat pumps, direct outside air units (DOAS), and a hot water boiler plant.
Among the premier high-rise buildings in downtown Denver is the 311,000 sqft.1401 Lawrence Building. The facility includes 13 stories of office space, an eight-story parking podium, and ground-floor restaurant and retail space. ATS designed and installed a building automation system that assisted 1401 Lawrence in achieving an elevated level of environmental efficiency as well as the LEED Gold Core and Shell certification.
Block 162 delivers 30-stories and 595,000 sqft. of Class A office space with a downtown Denver location at 15th and California. ATS provided a native BACnet building automation system serving a central cooling system, floor-by-floor air handling units, snowmelt system, garage ventilation system, and terminal boxes.
Market Station is a mixed-use development in downtown Denver that includes 90,000 sqft of office space, 85,000 sqft of retail, 225 residential apartment homes and a two-story below grade parking garage. ATS Rocky Mountain was chosen to provide a complete Alerton Compass building automation and control system for the development. ATS is also providing energy and BTU metering for the project. Market Station is expected to be complete by the end of 2019.
One Bellevue Station is a 318,057 sqft, Class AA, LEED Gold certified building located just west of the Denver Tech Center. ATS Rocky Mountain provided a complete Alerton Compass controls system for the facility and integrated controls with VFDs, Aaon RTUs, Lochinvar boilers and Danfoss drives for the cooling towers.
This was a design/build project that required ATS to work with Mtech Mechanical from the very start of the project to design the control system. The building is now the headquarters for Western Union and received the ENR Mountain States Award of merit for Office/Retail/Mixed-Use Development in 2018.
The Charles Schwab Service Center campus will feature a retail center just west of I-25 and south of Lincoln Avenue. The campus will feature two five-story buildings, an amenities facility and a 1,000 space parking garage. ATS is providing a new BACnet Energy Management system for this campus. The Retail Center is designated to achieve LEED Platinum while the remainder of the campus will be LEED Silver. This project is slated to complete in late 2014.
Leprino Foods is the world’s largest mozzarella cheese and lactose producer. Leprino Foods is an international company headquartered in Denver, CO. They have 12 manufacturing plants that support global sales to over 40 countries. The most recent manufacturing plant is located in Greeley, CO. ATS provided all of the environmental controls for the office building, processing areas and non-process areas throughout this manufacturing plant. We assist in maintaining the appropriate levels of temperature, humidity and pressure in all of the spaces that are required by the FDA.
